History of airsoft.

It is said that airsoft has it’s roots from Japan. In the late 1940s, due to their local laws, it is very difficult or impossible to obtain firearms in Japan. So gun enthusiast were seeking a legal way enjoy their passion. That started the industry of making airsoft guns. Soon airsoft spread all over the world. Airsoft is now very popular in several Asian regions, such as China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, and to a certain extent, the Philippines and Indonesia. There is also a growing interest in North America and Europe, especially in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Austria, France, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Slovakia, Switzerland, Poland, Lithuania, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Italy, Belgium (which is also visited by Dutch players, as the game is illegal in the Netherlands), and Denmark. Today airsoft continues to be a sport widely associated alongside paintball.
